Locked Down

have you ever,
been locked down in a cell,
with no one to hear you cry,
scared because you're far away from home,
and you're all alone,
I know I have,
and that was the worst experience,
I ever had to face,
because I was really scared,
and wanted to go home,
worst of all was,
I was far away from home,
and far away,
from the ones,
I loved and cared about,
I just sat,
in my small quiet cell,
and just cried,
because I have never,
been in trouble,
with the law before,
but I guess,
that's what happens,
when you don't follow the rules,
and run away from home,
you end up,
miles away from home,
locked down in a cell,
like I did,
so follow the rules,
your parents set for you,
and you won't end up,
like I did,
locked down in a cell,
far away from your family and friends,
and wanting to go home,
because I know,
I'll never make,
that mistake twice,
trust me it's not fun.
