Never There For Me

for as long,
as I can remember,
you always promised,
that you would protect me,
and now I don't understand,
what I did,
to deserve this,
because ever since,
the day we first met,
you always told me,
that you would,
always be there for me,
when I needed you the most,
but I guess you lied,
because when times got rough,
you got up and ran,
like a coward,
leaving me left in the dust,
because I used to think,
that you were my knight in shining armor,
but I guess,
I was totally wrong,
because you never,
truely cared enough about me,
for if you did,
you would of been there for me,
because when I needed you the most,
you were no where,
to be found,
because if you truely cared,
you would have been there for me,
no matter what the situation was,
to lend me a shoulder,
to cry on,
instead you were off,
doing your own little thing,
while I was all alone,
dealing with the pain,
of knowing that you didn't care,
enough about me,
to find out what was wrong,
for you were never there for me,
and I know you'll never be.
